A growing integrated marketing agency is seeking a Director/Sr. Director, Digital Media Performance to lead paid media campaign activation, performance, optimization, and reporting across key client accounts.
This is a senior, client-facing role focused on performance accountability. The ideal candidate brings deep cross-platform paid media expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to connect campaign performance to measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities- Oversee paid media campaigns to ensure they are live, pacing correctly, and executing as planned across channels
- Monitor and optimize campaigns to improve performance against defined KPIs
- Develop and execute A/B testing across audiences, creative, bidding strategies, and channels
- Analyze campaign results and translate data into clear insights, recommendations, and next steps
- Track performance against goals and connect campaign activity to broader client business outcomes
- Serve as a senior client-facing media expert, presenting strategy, performance results, and recommendations to marketing leaders and stakeholders
- Lead execution across platforms including Google Ads, Performance Max, You Tube, DV360, Meta, Tik Tok, Reddit, Linked In, Snapchat, programmatic DSPs, and direct digital/video channels
- Use analytics and reporting tools such as GA4, Datorama, Funnel, Mixpanel, or similar platforms to improve reporting and inform optimization
- Identify underperformance, delivery risks, or campaign issues and resolve them quickly
- Partner cross-functionally with strategy, creative, analytics, and account teams to improve campaign effectiveness
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve turnaround time, and increase output quality
- Support media partner relationships, negotiate effective media buys, and bring forward new ideas to drive client growth
- 8–12+ years of paid media experience with direct responsibility for campaign performance
- Strong hands-on experience managing and optimizing paid media campaigns
- Experience across paid search, paid social, programmatic, and video platforms
- Proven ability to improve campaign performance through testing, analysis, and iteration
- Experience working directly with senior marketing stakeholders and presenting performance results
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and connect performance to business outcomes
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Google Analytics/GA4, Mixpanel, Funnel, Datorama, or similar platforms
- Experience driving account growth, retention, or measurable performance improvements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and platform reporting tools
- Strong media marketplace relationships preferred
