Xavier University is looking for a Writer/Content Producer. Content Producers generate stories and create written content for all of Xavier’s marketing and communication channels.

Our writers work with faculty, staff, students, and alumni to highlight the Xavier experience and engage all members of the Xavier community.

Responsibilities

Generate all forms of written marketing content, including website copy, print, email, advertising, social media, video scripts, and other digital assets. Plan, create, edit, and maintain brand messaging across channels.

Maintain high editorial standards by proofreading and reviewing content for correct style, grammar, tone, and consistency.

Occasionally lead or collaborate on content‑centric projects, working with cross‑functional teams both inside and outside the marketing and communications office.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a related field.
1–3years of experience in copywriting, content production, or marketing communications.
Working knowledge of digital marketing tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, social media channels, marketing automation platforms, and web content management systems.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills; ability to persuade diverse audiences to act and stay engaged.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
