Job Description

A large consumer goods company is looking for a Corporate Communications Coordinator to support internal and external communications, manage the employee intranet, create and publish content, assist with employee engagement initiatives, and coordinate email communications in a hybrid contract role.

Internal Communications
  • Update content on the employee intranet
  • Create pages, news posts, articles quickly
  • Run small intranet improvement projects (layout updates, page refreshes)
  • Build and send internal emails (using Poppulo)
External Communications
  • Draft short Linked In posts
  • Help with press releases or media materials
Events & Employee Programs
  • Help plan and execute employee events (United Way campaign, holiday party, etc.)
  • Assist with promotion, logistics, scheduling, and setup
  • Support Matching Gift/charity programs
General
  • Coordinate with many internal teams
Skills and Requirements
  • Previous experience in corporate communications, public relations or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience utilizing an intranet site or similar digital platform
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and familiarity with social media platforms. Public Relations experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Event planning and execution
