We are seeking a motivated and creative Technical Graphic Design Intern to help support both our technical documentation needs and our growing marketing initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience creating assets that directly impact product packaging, customer education, brand awareness, and sales growth.
Position OverviewThe Technical Graphic Design & Marketing Intern will work closely with our Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to develop and update a wide variety of visual assets. Projects may range from revising product manuals and packaging to designing social media content, email campaigns, website graphics, and other creative marketing materials.
This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate who enjoys both technical precision and creative storytelling through visual design.
Responsibilities Technical Design & Documentation- Update and maintain product packaging artwork and labels.
- Revise operation manuals, instruction guides, quick-start guides, and technical documentation.
- Create technical illustrations, diagrams, icons, and product graphics.
- Ensure packaging and documentation meet international standards, regulatory requirements, and brand guidelines.
- Prepare files for print production and digital distribution.
- Support document version control and asset management processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure technical accuracy.
- Design graphics for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, You Tube, and Tik Tok.
- Create banners, graphics, and visual assets for website landing pages.
- Develop email marketing graphics and promotional materials.
- Assist with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and trade show materials.
- Create digital advertisements and branded promotional content.
- Support photography, image editing, and content creation efforts.
- Help maintain visual consistency across all WESSOL, Flow Zone®, and Spray Mate® marketing channels.
- Brainstorm and contribute ideas for creative marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
- Currently pursuing or have obtained a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including:
Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop - Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience designing for social media and digital marketing.
- Experience with packaging design or technical documentation.
- Knowledge of print production processes.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
- Photography, video editing, or motion graphics experience.
- Basic understanding of website design or user experience principles.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and collaborative project management tools.
- Highly creative with a strong visual eye.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
- Comfortable balancing technical accuracy with creative design.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for consumer products, branding, and marketing.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
