Pursuit Marketing Specialist

Messer Construction is seeking a Pursuit Marketing Specialist to drive winning strategies for complex commercial construction projects. In this role, you will lead proposal development, create compelling SOQs and interview materials, and collaborate closely with project teams across regions. You'll manage pursuit schedules, maintain marketing collateral, and conduct market research to support business growth. Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate pursuit and proposal strategies for key construction projects
• Write, edit, and design compelling SOQs, RFP/RFQ responses, and presentations
• Collaborate with project executives, estimators, and operations teams to gather project information
• Manage proposal timelines, calendars, and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality submissions
• Maintain and update marketing content, resumes, and project profiles
• Support interview preparation, including slide decks, messaging, and rehearsals
• Research clients, markets, and competitors to inform pursuit strategies
• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to Messer standards across all materials
• Track pursuit outcomes and support continuous improvement of win strategies
• Assist with marketing collateral, case studies, and other business development materials
