The Senior Event Marketing Coordinator drives awareness of and attendance to 3
CDC-produced events in our civic spaces. Increasing awareness of 3
CDC's role as the producer of these events is integral to this position in addition to recognizing sponsors of each event. Using earned media, paid media, trade media, digital and social media, print materials and outdoor signage within our own spaces (LED board, garages, civic spaces), the Senior Event Marketing Coordinator will work with the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, and the Civic and Commercial Activation team to create annual marketing plans and budgets with measurable results.
The Senior Event Marketing Coordinator will be expected to be a leader in event marketing efforts, work in lock-step with the
events and operations teams, develop and implement plans within budget, initiate budget conversations and address needs for photography, videography, and social media engagement to drive awareness of attendance of events.
Tasks:- Assist in the development of 3
CDC's overall marketing strategy. - Work as part of the Marketing and Communications Team in the planning and development of content that shapes the identity of 3
CDC's Civic Spaces across social media. - Curating relevant content to reach event attendees and community members across platforms.
- Creating and managing published content (images, video, and written).
- Capturing content during events held at all Civic Spaces using Instagram, Facebook, and tik, tok for on-site marketing and recap purposes.
- Monitoring, listening, and responding to users in a social way by engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
- Manage the creation and execution of promotional and sponsor recognition materials for events in conjunction with the Sponsorship Team.
- Compiling analytics reports showing results (ROI) for sponsorship recaps and capture patron event engagement.
- Demonstrate excellent understanding, practice, explanation, and execution of current and digital media trends.
- Work with manager and internal design team to execute paid advertising campaigns for all civic spaces; contribute creative concepts and copy for digital ads, radio ads, and directly manage the setup and monitoring of paid social ads across all Civic Space handles.
- Manage budgets and invoices for paid marketing initiatives in collaboration with manager.
- Manage the production of event and marketing signage for Civic Spaces and events.
- Assist team with written communications including weekly newsletters, press releases, and other advertising content.
- Maintain and update online calendars for each Civic Space. Submit calendar listings to 3rd party sites and media.
- Assist with media engagement including TV and Radio interviews.
- Proactively share work and deliver strong customer service to sponsors and clients.
