Studentfundraisersin the Digital Philanthropy Centerare a critical component to keeping open lines of communication with alumniand friends ofThe University of Cincinnati. Additionally,you’llraise thousands of dollars a year for scholarship sand
UCinitiatives. In this position you will call alumni and donors to solicit their support of UC. Working in our well-equipped call center, you’ll receive the training and tools needed to be successful.
This position requires strong verbal communication skills, a problem-solving mentality, the ability to think strategically in a fast-paced environment, and a genuine desire to advance the mission ofthe University of Cincinnati. Working at the Digital Philanthropy Centeris an excellent opportunity to develop your communication, negotiation, and fundraising knowledge and expertise while networking with a wide variety of members of the Bearcatfamily.
Specific Duties- Serve as an ambassador forthe University of Cincinnati by discussing University initiatives, accolades, and accomplishments.
- Call constituents (alumniand friends) to build personal rapport, update
demographic information, andsecure donations to the Foundation.
Use additional tools such as SMS, email and video to support your outreach efforts. - Work with otherassociatesin a team-oriented environment to achieve goals.
- Commit to a minimum ofthree 3-hour shifts(out of six available shifts) per week. The shift times are Sunday 2:00to5:00p.m.and Sunday – Thursday 6:00to 9:00p.m.

- Must have at least 1 semester of experience as a UC student.
- Currently enrolled at UC Main Campus with an above average grade point
- Keen interest in fundraising with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in-person and independently
- Strong work ethic and dedication to successfully completing tasks on time.

Student’s successful completion of the On-Campus Co-op Program involves enrollment in the INT 1000 (COOP 1000 starting Summer 2021) Internship Reflection course*, led by Experience-Based Learning and Career Education (ELCE) faculty.
