Position: Public Allies Cincinnati Apprentice (AmeriCorps)

Launch Your Leadership Journey While Making a Difference

Are you passionate about your community and looking for an opportunity to grow your leadership skills, gain professional experience, and create meaningful impact?

Public Allies Cincinnati is recruiting emerging leaders for a paid 10-month Ameri Corps apprenticeship program. As a Public Ally, you’ll serve full‑time with a local nonprofit or government agency while receiving leadership training, personalized coaching, and access to a national network of changemakers.

Whether you’re exploring career pathways, building professional skills, or seeking a way to make a difference in your community, Public Allies provides the support, experience, and connections to help you succeed.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve full‑time at a local nonprofit organization or government agency
  • Support projects that strengthen communities and advance social change
  • Participate in leadership development workshops and training sessions
  • Receive individualized coaching focused on your professional and personal goals
  • Collaborate with a diverse cohort of emerging leaders
  • Build skills in communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, project management, and community engagement
  • $2,550 monthly stipend (before taxes)
  • $7,395 Segal Ameri Corps Education Award upon successful completion
  • Healthcare subsidy (for eligible participants)
  • Childcare assistance (for eligible participants)
  • Extensive leadership development and professional training
  • One‑on‑one coaching and career support
  • Access to a national network of Public Allies alumni and partners

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident
