Community Relations Consultant
Location:
Ohio. This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement. This role is going to be assigned to travel within the following South West Ohio territory:
Adams, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby, Warren.

Schedule:
This role will require flexibility on working and participating in events in non standard traditional hours and/or weekends.
How you will make an impact:
- Engages members to mitigate disenrollment, resolve complex member issues, and assist in accessing correct care.
- Creates opportunities with events and presentations to reach and educate the community on company programs.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with community leaders, organizations, and churches and acts as resource for organizations interested in company programs.
- Establishes and maintains relationships and executes growth and retention strategies with providers within assigned territories.
- Conducts community based new member intake and orientation.
- Measures and tracks results through score carding and identify root causes that will enable assigned retention targets to be met within specific regions within the state.
- Tracks outreach activities, including referrals, partnerships, and event attendance, and report on progress toward outreach goals.
- Gather feedback from community members and partners to continually improve outreach strategies and program delivery.
- Creates marketing materials to support members and community education of benefits.
- Delivers presentations, attends meetings, and distributes educational materials to members and non-members.
- Meets and presents to county and community officials.
- Develops and manages regional budgets.
- Organizes and leads member and community feedback meetings across all regions, quarterly.
- 30%-40% travel is required within the state, variable travel, as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS in communications or a related field; 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Health care field experience preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Management experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse populations and build strong relationships with community leaders preferred.
- Experience in community outreach and engagement preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills preferred.
- Experience and ability to use all Microsoft Office products, including Excel (intermediate level), Outlook, Word, and SharePoint preferred.
