Function: This position is responsible for Emergency Assistance Services at the Cincinnati Service Locations or other needed locations. Services performed include assessing the basic needs of low‑income individuals and families, providing assistance in the form of food, financial assistance, vouchers for in‑kind items such as clothing and furniture, food delivery, and linking participants to services that will help stabilize their crisis.
The position will conduct registration for camp and all seasonal programs, and works in harmony with the Corps Officer to carry out The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry.
- Provide Emergency Assistance Services at Cincinnati Service Locations or other needed locations.
- Assess basic needs of low‑income individuals and families.
- Provide assistance: food, financial assistance, vouchers for in‑kind items, and food delivery.
- Link participants to stabilization services.
- Conduct registration for camp and seasonal programs.
- Collaborate with the Corps Officer to carry out mission and ministry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent work history experience.
- Willingness to uphold and support The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry.
