Cincinnati Cancer Foundation, Inc. supports individuals and families facing cancer through programs that provide expert guidance, community support, education, and access to important resources.

Through Cincinnati Cancer Advisors and Naples Cancer Advisors, patients receive independent expert second opinions and help understanding their diagnosis and treatment options, all at no cost.

The Foundation also administers the Ride Cincinnati grant program, helping manage the grant process and supporting funding for cancer research, patient care, education, and community programs throughout Greater Cincinnati. In addition, the Foundation supports the work of the Cincinnati Cancer Consortium, which brings together healthcare organizations and community partners to strengthen collaboration and improve cancer-related services across the region.

Position Summary

Cincinnati Cancer Foundation, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Program Coordinator to support key programs, events, grants, and community initiatives. The Program Coordinator will help move projects forward, coordinate details across staff and external partners, maintain timelines, and ensure assigned work is completed accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary user of Bloomerang, the organization’s constituent relationship management system and donor database, and help maintain accurate donor, sponsor, event, grant, and constituent information.
  • Prepare reports, mailing lists, acknowledgments, event records, and other information from Bloomerang for leadership and staff.
  • Play an active role in planning, coordinating, and carrying out the Foundation’s fundraising, donor, educational, and community events, including event timelines, registrations, sponsorship fulfillment, signage, materials, guest lists, vendors, volunteers, on‑site support, and follow‑up. The position may also assist with Ride Cincinnati activities as needed.
  • Support community outreach activities, partner events, educational programs, and other initiatives involving patients, families, donors, healthcare organizations, and community groups.
  • Support Ride Cincinnati grants and other grant activities by organizing timelines, applications, review materials, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with Cincinnati Cancer Consortium meetings, communications, presentations, records, and follow‑up.
  • Coordinate assigned projects, meetings, vendors, and external partners.
  • Prepare and format presentations, reports, event materials, advertisements, and other organizational documents.
  • Help maintain organized electronic files, brand materials, photographs, logos, and collateral.
  • Assist with newsletters, social media, donor communications, annual reports, mailings, and other communications.
  • Track deadlines, action items, and deliverables and provide regular updates to the Executive Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least three years of experience in program coordination, project support, events, fundraising, nonprofit work, grants, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with Bloomerang or another CRM or donor database is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Canva or basic design work is helpful.
  • Nonprofit, healthcare, fundraising, grant, or event experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, comfortable with technology, and able to take ownership of assigned work while collaborating effectively with staff, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.
