Volunteer Manager

We're on the road to rescue fresh food

Last Mile Food Rescue is a Cincinnati-based nonprofit that operates on a simple belief: hunger is a logistics problem. We rescue fresh surplus food from grocers, restaurants, and other food donors and move it quickly to nonprofit partners serving neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

Since November 2020, Last Mile has rescued more than 20 million pounds of food, delivering millions of meals while keeping nutritious food out of landfills. Powered by innovative technology, a dedicated fleet, and an extraordinary volunteer network, Last Mile continues to grow rapidly and is building the logistics infrastructure needed to solve food insecurity across Greater Cincinnati.

The Opportunity Volunteers are at the heart of Last Mile Food Rescue's mission. As the organization continues to grow, we are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven leader to build one of our most valuable assets—our volunteer community.
