Work Schedule- Full‑time (80 hours bi‑weekly)
- Day shift
- No weekend or holiday rotation

Job Requirements- Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Required)
- New hire must obtain BSN within 5 years (Required)
- Up to 1 year clinical experience in nursing (Required)
- Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciencesli>
- Preferred membership in related professional organization
- Registered Nurse required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
This position applies the nursing process to provide direct and indirect holistic care to patients and their families. The nurse collaborates collegially with physicians and other health‑care team members to meet patient needs, delegating tasks within scope of practice as appropriate.
Job Responsibilities- Perform initial and ongoing patient and family assessments, complete assessment tools, document findings, and communicate findings to the health‑care team. Include health counseling and teaching needs.
- Plan care based on assessment, standards of care, and optimal outcomes. Initiate individualized care plans and clinical pathways, update plans as needed, and communicate plans to others.
- Provide a safe, therapeutic environment that respects patient autonomy, dignity, and rights. Seek resources for ethical decision‑making, recognize emergency situations, and respond appropriately.
- Document patient assignments within scheduled timeframe, base interventions on clinical data, and serve as an expert resource in specialty area. Educate other staff and effectively communicate surgical case information.
- Evaluate the plan of care for optimal outcomes, document patient/family response, collaborate with team members to revise care plans, and supervise delegated care.
- Perform technical skills according to policy and accepted standards. Safely administer medications/treatments, monitor effects, and use equipment safely.
- Identify areas for professional growth through self‑assessment, peer review, and continuing education. Share knowledge with colleagues and provide constructive feedback.
