Care First Urgent Care is immediately hiring a Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and/or Physician Assistant for a full‑time Provider position. Providers make their own schedules, receive a competitive benefits package and have a support staff of Medical Assistants, Medical Receptionists, as well as Office Managers and Collaborating Physicians. This Provider position works 7–12 hour shifts per 2‑week pay period.

Job Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with acute minor medical illness and minor acute exacerbations of chronic illness
- Perform minor office procedures, such as incision and drainage and laceration repair
- Perform wellness physicals, preoperative physicals, work‑related physicals (such as DOT, pre‑employment) and sports physicals
- Manage the patient’s care in a timely manner and maintain a level of productivity that is equivalent to the other providers on staff
- Thoroughly and accurately document every patient encounter
- Order diagnostic labs/imaging as needed (point of care tests, x‑ray, etc)
- DOT Certification required within 30 days of employment
