Good Sam Hospital OB/GYN Center, 375 Dixmyth Ave Cincinnati, OH 45220
Schedule:
Full Time, Rotates Weekends, On Call

Job Overview:
Provide nurse-midwifery care to a caseload of clients within Tri Health. Maintain competence in providing healthcare services to clients of all ages and/or developmental levels. Comply with a Standard Care Agreement with a physician for practice and prescriptive authority. Sustain staff privileges according to rules and regulation of Tri Health. Utilize expertise for consultation, education and research.
Job Requirements:
Master's Degree in Nursing
Major in Nurse Midwifery
Certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives
Registered Nurse with CNM Licensure
Critical decision making ability
Skilled in teamwork with multiple disciplines
Professional membership in nursing specialty organization required
New Grads Welcome. 1-2 years experience full scope nurse-midwifery practice preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Serves as an educator for personnel, clients, families, students and communities.
Serves as a role model of professional nurse-midwifery conduct and practice.
Participates effectively in the problem solving, consultation and case management of patient care.
Maintains and updates current clinical skills
Establishes positive relationships with staff, colleagues, patients, families and other health care providers.
