Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse ADON/Unit Manager to join our leadership team at Meadowbrook Care Center. This is a full-time DAYSHIFT opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering the highest standard of resident care.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day nursing activities for a skilled nursing unit
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in compliance with facility policies
  • Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in on-call rotation with three other nurse managers
  • Conduct resident rounds, review care plans, and provide direct nursing care as needed
  • Assist with physician rounds and communicate resident needs and updates
  • Monitor stock levels of medications, supplies, and equipment
  • Prepare and maintain accurate medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charts
  • Investigate and complete accident/incident reports as required
  • Ensure nursing personnel follow established procedures and policies
  • Welcome and orient new residents and their families to the facility
Qualifications
  • Current, active, and unencumbered RN license in Ohio
  • Nursing degree from an accredited program (RN or LPN)
  • Required 1 year of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, and vent unit experience
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to make independent clinical and administrative decisions
  • Patient, professional, and tactful in interactions with staff, residents, families, and external partners
  • Familiarity with Point Click Care  electronic medical records is a plus
