Job Requirements- Associate's Degree - Nursing (Required)
- New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in an OR/pre/post setting
- Registered Nurse licensure (Required)
- ACLS PALS is required or must be obtained within first few weeks or orientation
- Procedural room experience is a plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle
- Conducts initial and ongoing patient/family assessments and documents per policy.
- Develops, implements, and updates individualized plans of care based on patient needs and standards of care.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to establish goals and discharge plans.
- Provides safe, ethical, and patient‑centered care respecting diversity, dignity, and autonomy.
- Recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
- Administers medications and treatments safely and monitors patient responses.
- Accurately executes and communicates physician orders and clinical information.
- Evaluates patient outcomes and revises care plans as needed.
- Performs technical skills and operates equipment according to policy and standards.
- Supports unit operations through documentation, charge/resource roles, staff education, and professional development.
