Job Type: Part‑Time – 24 Hours weekly – Days 6:30am-7:00pm

Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500

In the Observation Unit you will provide direct and indirect holistic care for patients requiring short‑term monitoring and rapid evaluation. • Perform initial and ongoing patient and family assessments and document findings according to unit and Tri Health standards.
• Develop and update individualized plans of care based on assessments and established clinical pathways.
• Communicate assessment findings and care plans effectively with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Provide a safe, therapeutic care environment while upholding patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and elevate concerns as needed.
• Complete all documentation and patient care tasks within expected time frames.
• Deliver patient and family education and health counseling as part of routine care.
• Serve as a resource by training or guiding other staff within the specialty when appropriate.

• Must‑Have
• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years.
• BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers.
• Active Registered Nurse licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment and skills grounded in biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.

• Preferred
• Membership in a related professional organization.
• 1+ year full‑time or 2+ years part‑time acute care RN experience.
• Specialty certification.

• FTE:
  Part‑Time – 24 Hours weekly
• Shift: Days 6:30am-7:00pm

  Onsite, inpatient hospital setting – Observation Unit
