Shift: Days – 5 days (4x10 or 2x8/2x12 shifts, 06:30‑18:30 or 06:30‑23:00 with overnight call)

Flexible shift patterns with call hours distributed equitably among staff on a 4‑week basis. Call begins at 7pm each weekday night and weekend call divided into 12‑hour blocks. Call hours will be scheduled as required.

• Provide nursing care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
• Assist in cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures including CABG, valve replacements, aneurysm repairs, and advanced endovascular work.
• Perform charting and documentation using EPIC.
• Participate in code response and emergency procedures.
• Support peri‑operative team and coordinate patient care from pre‑op to post‑op.

• Minimum of 3 years overall OR experience with at least 2 years in cardiac and vascular care.
• 1 year CVOR experience.
• 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma or Level II Trauma facility.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight call.
• Valid RN license or compact accepted; must be valid at time of submission.

• Experience with transfusion of blood products and management of vascular access.
• Knowledge of infection control, universal protocol, and surgical safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills and capacity to work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
