Full School Day (Start times 7:10–8:40 AM | End times 2:40–4:20 PM)

Hours:

35 hours/week guaranteed (more with transportation cases)

We are seeking compassionate and reliable School LPNs/LVNs to provide 1:1 student care and clinic support within Cincinnati Public Schools. This position focuses on delivering healthcare services, monitoring student conditions, and promoting overall student wellness in a supportive school environment.

This is a great opportunity to transition into school nursing, even if you don’t already have school or pediatric experience. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with students while building valuable skills in a structured setting.

• Candidates must be comfortable supporting students with G‑tubes, catheter care, seizures, and diabetes
• 1:1 assignments and potential bus ride participation
• No school or pediatric experience required
• Must have full‑day availability (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Positions may be 1:1, clinic‑based, or supporting multiple students
• Assignments may change throughout the school year based on student needs
• Final placement details released around August 1 (priority given to fully onboarded candidates)

• Active LPN/LVN license (Ohio or compact, as applicable)
• At least 1 year of nursing experience (school/pediatric not required)
• CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB test / health clearance (per state guidelines)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Minimum age: 18
