Work Schedule- Optional/PRN
- 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- No weekends or holidays

- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of NP, CNS or midwife program
- Specialty certification in area of expertise
- Registered Nurse with APRN licensure
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical specialization
- Professional membership in specialty nursing organization required within one year of start date
- 3–4 years of clinical nursing experience in geriatrics, occupational health, or other applicable setting
- Collaborate and consult with interdisciplinary health care team, patients and families for diagnosis, prioritization and intervention implementation.
- Initiate referrals and promote collaboration among team members.
- Assist team members and patients in selecting cost-effective and quality therapies.
- Lead teaching, consultation, management, and research activities to improve nursing outcomes.
- Design and implement evidence-based protocols and guidelines.
- Participate in decision‑making at system, local, state, and national levels to improve patient outcomes.
- Serve in key roles on committees, councils, and administrative teams.
- Disseminate research, evidence-based practice, or quality improvement projects.
- Act as primary or co-investigator on nursing or collaborative research projects.
- Mentor patients, families, and providers; serve as preceptor, role model, and educator.
- Maintain ethical and legal practice in accordance with Ohio Scope of Practice.
- Prescribe medication and therapeutic devices consistent with formulary and Ohio statutes.
- Perform complete history and physical examinations, including psychosocial assessment.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; collaborate with physicians on treatment plans.
- Discuss care options and goals with family members.
- Execute at least 50% of hours in direct patient and family care.
