Registered Nurse - PACU
Full Time Day Shift
- Tri Health Good Samaritan Hospital
Location: 375 Dixmyth Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45220
Work Schedule:
- Full Time Days - (72 hours bi-weekly)
- 9:00am - 9:30pm
- Weekend rotation
- Holiday rotation

Job Requirements- Associate's Degree
- Nursing (Required) - New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in Telemetry or ICU/Critical Care (Required)
- Experience in PACU or a similar setting is preferred
- Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle
- Registered Nurse Required
- ACLS PALS may be required but is dependent on unit or department Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Perform initial and ongoing patient/family assessments and document per guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care based on patient needs and expected outcomes.
- Provide safe, ethical, patient-centered care while supporting dignity, diversity, and autonomy.
- Prioritize care based on patient condition and unit needs.
- Safely administer medications and treatments; perform technical skills per policy.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions.
- Evaluate patient responses to care and revise plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Supervise delegated tasks and ensure quality care delivery.
- Participate in organizational activities such as committees, staff meetings, and unit initiatives.
- Support student learning and staff development; serve in leadership roles as needed.
- Maintain professional competence through continuing education and self-assessment.
- Build collaborative, collegial relationships across the healthcare team.
- Identify and act on opportunities for process improvement.
