RN School Based FLOAT-Cincinnati

Job Title & Location

RN School-Based Permanent Float – Cincinnati Area – Mondays only
Must drive up to 35 miles to cover a school.
Guaranteed 7 hours/day. No nights, weekends, holidays, or summer.

• Provide nursing care and support to students in various school settings.
• Assess student health needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Current RN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing (required).
• Knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication protocols.
• Preference for school‑based or pediatric experience.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented approach – must work effectively with staff, parents, and students.
• Excellent organizational skills and time‑management abilities.
• Current CPR certification and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of HIPAA laws and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
