We are seeking an energetic, strategic, and dedicated leader. The Care Team Manager will serve 16 residents across two cottages — shaping the daily experience of individuals with developmental disabilities.
This is a hands‑on leadership role that blends clinical oversight, staff development, and compassionate person‑centered care, in close collaboration with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
Position OverviewThe Care Team Manager is responsible for creating and fostering a dynamic team environment, leading and developing a dynamic care team while collaborating with Care Team Managers and Programming staff to ensure person‑centered, high‑quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day care operations, including staffing, scheduling, and time, while leading and developing a multidisciplinary care team.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary partners to implement person‑centered plans that ensure quality, compliance, and coordinated resident care.
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve staff training programs and in‑services, while coaching team members and evaluating new hire competency. Participate in onboarding and orientation for new hires and represent the team at internal and external meetings and conferences.
- Handle the full employee lifecycle — from interviewing and hiring through supervision, coaching, and guiding staff development.
- Foster a positive team culture.
- Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Health and DODD standards, and oversee quality assurance, infection control, staffing, recruitment, training, clinical care coordination, and admissions/discharges.
- Uphold resident privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA.
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) graduate from an accredited school of nursing and licensed with the Ohio Board of Nursing.
