Work Schedule- Full Time Days – (72‑80 hours bi‑weekly)
- Call is every 4th weekend (either Saturday or Sunday)
- Two holiday shifts per year
- Six week scheduling period with 3‑4 nights of call during that time frame

With 20 state‑of‑the‑art OR suites (17 ORs, 2 hybrids, and a dedicated cysto room) and an average of 35–40 cases per day, you will experience exceptional clinical variety and continuous growth.

This position is a qualified registered nurse accountable to the Nursing Manager of the Operating Room / L&D ORs for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, communicating, and monitoring patient care activities in the operating room. The Specialty Team Leader demonstrates effective utilization of resources, facilities and team cohesiveness and assumes specialty service responsibilities in the OR / L&D ORs. Utilizes robotic platforms such as da Vinci systems and specializes in urologic procedures (prostatectomy, cystectomy, stone cases, etc).

OR nurses receive a $11/hour in‑call pay plus time and a half when called in (paid for a minimum of 3 hours no matter what).
Job Requirements- Associate's Degree – Nursing (Required)
- New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire (Required)
- Minimum of 3‑5 years of relevant OR/Surgery RN experience (Strongly preferred)
- Registered Nurse licensure (Required)
- Previous leadership experience required (Charge Nurse, Team Lead or equivalent)
- ACLS PALS may be required but is dependent on unit or department (Preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle
- Experience with service line coordination or specialty team leadership required
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments; develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Deliver safe, patient‑centered care while maintaining dignity, autonomy, and ethical standards.
- Administer medications and treatments; monitor and document patient responses.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Supervise delegated tasks and ensure quality of care.
- Support staff development, participate in organizational initiatives, and promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain clinical competency and ensure effective use of equipment, supplies, and resources.
