Travel Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Role Overview

The Interventional Radiology RN provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures, including pre-procedure assessments, intra-procedure monitoring, sedation administration, and post-procedure recovery. Collaborating closely with radiologists and healthcare team members, the role ensures patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and education.
• Administer and monitor sedation and manage intra-procedure vital signs.
• Assist with procedures, ensuring sterile technique and proper positioning.
• Recognize and respond to complications, providing appropriate escalation.
• Monitor recovery, manage pain, and educate patients on post-care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

• Recent minimum of one year experience in Interventional Radiology Nursing.
• Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain concentration, and handle diverse situations.
