Job OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as an independent contractor. This flexible position offers a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week with in-person availability for at least 16 hours per week (mix of days with at least 2 afternoon/evenings). While 24 hours is the baseline, we welcome the possibility of additional hours based on availability.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in establishing and expanding psychiatric services, working closely with counselors as part of an integrated care team. The position is structured as a 1099 contract, offering a combination of in‑person and telehealth ambulatory work.

- Provide high-quality care to patients as scheduled.
- Collaborate closely with the designated physician to ensure effective patient outcomes.
- Maintain a professional and patient-centered approach at all times.
- Manage the healthcare of patients with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and preserve dignity and rights.
- Prescribe medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patient’s diagnoses, health history, and age.
- Encourage positive health behaviors through education and counseling.
- Apply standardized care guidelines in clinical practice.
- Perform designated procedures.
- Ensure compliance.
- Required Board License – PMHNP.
- Ability to commit to at least 24 hours of availability per week.
- Willingness to work more hours as needed.
- Open to 1099 arrangement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a self-starter.
- Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team.
- Preferably two years relevant clinical health experience.
