Registered Nurse – Cardiac Catheterization Lab Transforming Pediatric Cardiac Care

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a dedicated RN to join our Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, part of the nationally recognized Heart Institute. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while delivering the highest quality care to pediatric patients with complex cardiac conditions. As part of Peri-Operative Services, you will play a vital role in the Cath/EP Lab—circulating during procedures, setting up the room, prepping patients, documenting in Epic and GE Live, and providing expert care for high-acuity patients.

4 days a week 10 hour shifts (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM) - 1.0 FTE

Call Responsibilities
  • Weekday Call: 1-2 days per week
  • Weekend Call: 72-hour rotation every 6-7 weeks
  • Response Time:
    Must be within 30 minutes when on call
Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Required background: ICU, Interventional Radiology (IR), and/or Cath Lab
  • Preferred experience:

    Cardiac ICU (CICU) or Acute Care Cardiac Unit (ACCU) (not required)
  • Strong critical care and procedural nursing skills
  • Ability to excel in a high-acuity, team-driven environment
  • Six-month orientation provided to ensure success

Job Responsibilities
