Unit Details

* The Neuroscience Acute Care unit teamwork model allows close work with all members of the team to provide the highest level of acuity and care for all our patients.

* UCMC has been named the Preferred Neuroscience institution in the area, and the Neuroscience Acute Care unit is also a Level 4 Epilepsy Center.

* Neuroscience Acute Care provides an opportunity to expand Academic knowledge in a Medical Center and allows a teaching environment, as we are also the region's first comprehensive stroke center.
