American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit requiring vent and trach experience along with an OH or compact RN license.

• Level IV NICU with high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions of the neonate
• Supports a regional high acuity Fetal Care Center with a high volume of intubated and acute infants
• Patient population includes conditions such as Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Prematurity, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, and Pulmonary Hypertension, among others
• Utilizes specialized equipment including Nitric Oxide, Servo Ventilators, Oscillators, Hi Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, EVDs, Shunts, Giraffe Beds, Moog Feeding Pumps, Arterial Lines, and Peritoneal Dialysis
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, every other weekend
• Candidates will float within the hospital, potentially to the Liberty campus

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU specialty required
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Vent and trach experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required
• No previous license hits allowed

• Provide high-acuity care to neonates with complex surgical, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and neurological conditions
• RTO must be requested at time of submission and cannot exceed 5 days total
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local and local rates will apply
• Previous employees of the facility are ineligible to apply for 1 year from their termination date
• Copies of all nursing certifications must be included in the candidate profile
• Additional background check and fingerprinting required onsite on first day, which could impact employment
