- Registered Nurse (RN) – STNA Course Trainer
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic RN STNA Trainer to lead our State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) training program.
In this role, you will play a vital part in educating, mentoring, and preparing students for rewarding careers in long-term care and nursing.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver Comprehensive Instruction: Teach both classroom theory and clinical skills in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Student Mentorship: Guide students through hands‑on practical training, ensuring they develop safe, competent, and compassionate care techniques.
Assess Progress: Evaluate student performance through quizzes, practical exams, and clinical evaluations to ensure readiness for the state competency exam.
Maintain Compliance: Keep accurate attendance, grades, and training records up to date according to state regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications & RequirementsActive RN License: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state.
Train the Trainer Certification: Must possess a valid STNA Train-the-Trainer certification (as required by the state department of health).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of experience working in a long‑term care facility (preferred).
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching.
