The primary purpose of the Registered Nurse (RN) position is to provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care while serving as a clinical leader during weekend operations. The Weekend Warrior RN collaborates with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure residents receive exceptional care from admission through discharge.

This role is ideal for nurses who prefer a weekend-focused schedule, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy leading a team dedicated to quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.

Provide direct nursing care including assessments, medication administration, treatments, wound care, and documentation

Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary team

Supervise Nursing Assistants and support staff to ensure quality resident care

Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

Communicate effectively with residents and family members regarding care and progress

Ensure compliance with all facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care and skilled nursing services

Respond to resident needs and support clinical operations during weekend shifts

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Current, active, and unencumbered Ohio RN license or compact/multi-state RN license

Current CPR certification

Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

Strong knowledge of nursing practices, clinical procedures, and long-term care regulations

Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to lead and support a multidisciplinary team

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

Compassionate, resident-centered approach to patient care
