Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supports the Nurse Manager (NM) with supervisory duties and responsibility and accountability for the operations of their designated units.
- Leads and organizes delivery of care to ensure continuity of care and peer accountability for practice in alignment with the Standards Of Nursing practice.
- Applies advanced clinical knowledge/judgment to lead staff involvement in planning, decision-making, and evaluating outcomes beyond the immediate practice setting.
- Applies nursing expertise to lead improvement, with demonstrated outcomes, beyond the immediate practice setting.
- Responsible and accountable for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and providing input into the evaluation of individual staff performance.
- Functions as role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing leadership to the team.
- Enhances care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and implement new evidence-based cutting-edge programs/processes.
- Seeks knowledge from professional organizations to enhance leadership and career growth.
- Equips staff with tools for competent care and promotes an environment of accountability for high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.
- Promotes alliances across the care continuum, building trust through active listening, engagement, and emotional intelligence.

Pay:
Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards
