American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring 2 years of PICU experience and OH or compact RN licensure.
Details- Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a children's hospital
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
- Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
- Floating required, including to CVPICU and potentially the Liberty campus
- Every-other-weekend (EOW) work required
- Blocked scheduling accommodated for weekends only if willing to work all weekends
- Active RN license (OH state or Compact)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PICU experience with exposure to CICU required
- Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
- First-time travelers considered, provided they meet the 2-year specialty experience requirement
- Full vaccination required with no exceptions
- Minimum of 2 holidays worked per contract
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and cannot exceed 5 days
- Previous CCHMC employees ineligible to apply for 1 year from their termination date
- Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local
- Additional background check and fingerprinting required onsite on first day of assignment
