Laboratory Animal Resource Technician

-  - Responsibilities:
Work in a complex and highly regulated environment providing humane care for laboratory animals supporting education and research labs.;
Ensure proper documentation and record keeping in accordance with regulatory and departmental requirements (Animal Welfare Act, GLP, USDA, AAALAC, IACUC, and client policies).;
Perform daily animal health observations and identify abnormalities, completing documentation and reporting to veterinary and scientific staff.;
Conduct required veterinary treatments including parental administration of treatments/drugs.;
Assist Attending Veterinarian, Study Directors, and/or Research Assistants with physical exams, routine weight checks, technical procedures, and critical pre/post-operative treatments and observations.
