Registered Veterinary Technician in Cincinnati

Are you a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with a flair for modern medicine, a heart for family‑oriented care, and an undeniable love for wagging tails and purring companions?

We’re seeking a dedicated RVT to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional service to our beloved patients and their families. We are a well‑established hospital on East Galbraith Road, three blocks from the Kenwood Mall.

We utilize cloud‑based practice management software (Ezyvet), VoIP phone system (Weave), Idexx lab equipment, digital X‑ray, Clarius Ultrasound, and other technologies.

Education
  • Associate (Required)
  • Graduated from an AVMA approved veterinary technology program.
  • Successfully passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).
License/Certification
  • Ohio Veterinary Technician Certification (Required)

Maintain membership with the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association.

Experience

Minimum two years of veterinary experience, preferred.

Must be able to: restrain animals, complete clinical laboratory tests, use multiple radiology techniques, administer drugs, monitor animals under anesthesia, assist in surgery, and perform dental procedures. Technicians provide compassionate nursing care and support veterinarians with surgery, laboratory procedures, radiography, anesthesiology, prescribed treatment, nursing, and client education.

  • Provide top‑notch medical care and support to patients, from routine wellness exams to complex surgical procedures.
  • Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions, utilizing skills in anesthesia monitoring, laboratory diagnostics, and radiology.
  • Educate pet parents on preventive care, nutrition, and overall well‑being.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional client experiences.
