Job Overview

Beechmont Pet Hospital is currently seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing individual to join our growing staff as a full‑time veterinary assistant! Part‑time availability may also be considered for the right candidate. Potential applicants should have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi‑task. A customer service background and/or veterinary hospital experience is preferred, but we are also willing to provide on‑the‑job training as well.

• Assist with patient care and treatment
• Monitor hospitalized pets
• Maintain inventory and stocking
• Restrain animals during blood draws and nail trims
• Aid with routine diagnostic tests
• Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments
• Clean and disinfect the hospital
• Administer medication under supervision
• Feed and bathe animals
• Answer phones and perform general customer service duties

• Positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi‑task
• Customer service background preferred
• Veterinary hospital experience preferred (training provided)

• Base hourly rate of $13.00 – $15.00
