We are looking for:
Surgery and Anesthesia Veterinary Credentialed Technician

Schedule:

Tuesday - Friday, 8a-6:30p

Our Surgery team is a fast-paced environment, perfect for technicians that are looking for training in multiplefacetsof the department and interaction with the other teams in the hospital. This team requires strong communicationskillstoliaison between surgeons and clients and deliver post-operative ca reinstructions.

Whatyou’lldo:
  • Manage appointments,obtainpatienthistories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges,etc
  • Fill medications, enter charges andmaintainaccuratemedical records, schedule appointments
  • Create patient releases, navigate client conversations around treatment plans and financial obligations
  • Prep patients for surgery, including shaving,scrubbing and positioning,assist with intubation and radiographs
  • Proficiently perform blooddrawsandsubmitbloodwork
  • Ensure documentation isaccurateand complete
  • Opening, turningoverand cleaning operating rooms, as well as cleaning instruments and wrapping packs
Who are you:
  • State Registered Veterinary Technician license required
  • Prior veterinary experience required,previoussurgeryexperience desired
  • Proficientincalculations(drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
