Position Overview
  • We are seeking detail-oriented and technically skilled IT/Laboratory Support Technicians to support critical medical device and sterilization processes within a fast-paced laboratory environment. This role involves executing cleaning, inspection, documentation, and troubleshooting activities while ensuring strict adherence to client protocols and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret client protocols, procedures, and technical terminology.
  • Initiate, monitor, and support the full lifecycle of cleaning and sterilization processes.
  • Operate ultrasonic washers, automated washers, and autoclaves according to established procedures.
  • Inspect devices post-cleaning to identify defects, damage, or inconsistencies.
  • Record and maintain accurate data in Excel spreadsheets and written reports.
  • Prepare and batch-mix commonly used cleaning solutions.
  • Cross-train in additional laboratory areas (mechanical, materials, etc.).
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Verify adherence to procedures among technicians and elevate issues as needed.
  • Replace chemicals and maintain machine readiness.
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of relevant laboratory, technical, or medical device experience.
  • Strong documentation, inspection, and quality-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency with Excel and basic reporting tools.
  • Ability to follow strict protocols and regulatory procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a STEM-related field.
  • Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician.
  • Experience with:
  • Medical device regulations and compliance
  • QA inspection and testing
  • Laboratory equipment operation and maintenance
