Compliance Coordinator
Responsible for compliance with regulatory and funder requirements in designated Service Lines. Assists programs to assure compliance with best practices, audit standards and legal requirements through collaboration and coordination of resources.
Position Description- Know and explain regulatory specifications for designated service lines
- Understand and promote resources to coordinate efficiency in regulatory compliance
- Carry out tasks to coordinate accreditation/certification processes within designated service lines
- Assist programs to assure compliance plans are fully implemented and designed to meet requirements
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and funder requirements and communicate findings from audit/survey reviews
- Interpret data to identify trends and assist program with improvements
- Manage multiple projects and demands effectively
- Lead meetings and create written communication for a wide audience
- Chair or participate in committees as assigned
- Create written reports, meeting minutes, and other correspondence for agency business purposes
- Ensure training and skill building occur as necessary
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates compliance business partner projects and initiatives
- Written reports and monitoring activities daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually as indicated by agency needs
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to utilize technology to manage data and assist in communication
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively in a wide variety of settings
- Knowledge of specific areas of focus (behavioral health, corrections, housing) as applicable
- Ability to handle sensitive inquiries and information in a confidential and professional manner
- Bachelor's degree in related field or;
- 4 years' experience in compliance/regulatory work in a related field
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Positional:
Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Occasional standing and walking. Constant sitting. - Gross Mobility:
Rare climbing, or crawling. Frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching, handling and fingering. - Sensory:
Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking.
