At Jacobs, we’re making our world better with every water and wastewater project we complete. We understand the importance of quality to the success of these projects. We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Manager to oversee the overall quality control program for a complex, progressive design-build wastewater treatment facility project in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will work with our subcontractors and design-build team to implement quality processes, manage third-party testing and inspections (including special inspections), and maintain project documentation such as reports and non-conformance resolutions.

This position reports to the project manager and is responsible for the successful implementation of the quality control program.

Here's what you’ll also do:

  • Collaborate with resident engineers, construction management, and the design team to integrate quality into project delivery.
  • Develop and manage the overall quality control program, including subcontractor QC plans.
  • Monitor quality compliance with regulatory and industry standards, leveraging your diverse background to shape project quality success.
  • Review technical issues, ensure inspection compliance, and support field staff in quality procedures and inspections.
  • Manage the quality control budget, including staffing and third-party services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as QA/QC Manager or similar role.
  • At least 10 years of design or construction experience on large water/wastewater projects.
  • Knowledge of Safety Plans, QA/QC Plans, and Project Execution Plans.
  • Strong communication skills for client presentations and technical reports.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all project levels and clients.
  • Knowledge of contract negotiation and administration.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with Design Build delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
