Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician (3rd Shift) to join our team. In this role, you will perform sampling, testing, inspections, and verification activities to ensure our products meet all safety and quality standards. This position plays a key part in monitoring production lines, verifying CCPs, and supporting audits.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update quality records in the QA module of the company ERP system.
  • Sample and inspect incoming labels and sleeves for production release.
  • Perform line clearances and line checks to ensure product and food safety.
  • Conduct daily sampling and inspection of WIP and finished products.
  • Monitor plant operations to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Perform analytical testing following lab procedures.
  • Conduct environmental and micro swabbing as required.
  • Assist in internal Food Safety/HACCP audits.
  • Support third-party and customer audits.
  • Conduct ATP swabbing during start-ups and changeovers.
  • Help with QA training as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company QA policies.
  • Collect, retain, and ship samples to customers or outside labs as needed.
  • Calibrate lab equipment including pH meters, refractometers, thermometers, scales, and ATP meters.
  • Perform other QA-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in food and/or beverage manufacturing (quality experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on 3rd shift.
