Position Summary: As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will perform inspections, conduct tests, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, all while working collaboratively within our quality assurance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Inspection:

    • Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Identify and document any defects or quality issues and report them to the quality assurance team.
  • Testing and Analysis:

    • Perform laboratory tests on samples, including physical and chemical evaluations.
    • Maintain accurate records of test results and inspections, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control plans.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with production staff to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Participate in team meetings to discuss quality improvement initiatives and share findings.
  • Training and Support:

    • Provide training and support to production employees on quality control measures and best practices.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in food quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of GMP regulations and quality assurance processes.
    • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting analytical tests.
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
