Position

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to lead our Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs. The ideal candidate will ensure that our UV-C LED disinfection products and manufacturing processes consistently meet the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations. This role is critical to maintaining our ISO 9001:2015 certification and supporting certifications for NSF, EPA, and other global standards in a high‑growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 and other applicable standards
  • Oversee all QA/QC activities across design, manufacturing, supply chain, and product release for water, air, and surface disinfection systems
  • Participate in internal and external audits, including customer audits, regulatory inspections, and third‑party certification audits (NSF, EPA, etc.)
  • Manage the quality control team, including inspection, testing, and documentation processes for incoming materials, in-process, and finished goods
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and non-conformances
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements relevant to UV disinfection and manufacturing
  • Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Production, and Supply Chain teams to integrate quality into product development and manufacturing processes (Design for Quality)
  • Monitor key quality metrics (KPI’s) and report on quality performance to senior leadership
  • Oversee supplier quality management, including qualification, audits, and performance monitoring
  • Support validation and verification activities for new products and processes
  • Maintain accurate quality records, batch documentation, and traceability systems
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 3+ years of progressive QA/QC experience in manufacturing, preferably in medical devices, water treatment, environmental technology, electronics, or regulated consumer products
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, with experience in NSF, EPA, or similar regulatory standards highly desirable
  • Experience managing quality teams and leading cross‑functional projects
  • Expertise in quality tools and methodologies:
    Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, SPC, CAPA, 8D, PPAP, etc
  • Familiarity with UV technology, optics, electronics, or fluid systems is a strong advantage
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software (e.g., ERP, QMS systems)
