Quality Director

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay: $130,000 - $180,000

Responsibilities
  • Lead all site quality functions, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, and Quality Engineering while driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute the site's quality strategy, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), including internal and customer audits, corrective actions, risk management, and regulatory readiness.
  • Serve as the primary quality representative with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, leading escalations, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Monitor and drive quality performance metrics, provide strategic insights to leadership, and partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve product quality and business performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 15+ years of progressive quality experience, including at least 7 years in a quality leadership role.
  • Experience with in aerospace or complex engineered product manufacturing; experience with aerospace tooling or ground support equipment is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems, audits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams, customer and supplier quality initiatives, and complex problem-solving in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Experience engaging with customers, suppliers, and executive leadership while driving continuous improvement and organizational performance.
  • ASQ and/or Six Sigma certification and experience leading organizational transformation are preferred.
