Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CMM Programmer role in Cincinnati, OH. Key Responsibilities
  • Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect precision parts and assemblies.
  • Develop and optimize CMM programs using software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar platforms.
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications to ensure accurate measurement and inspection.
  • Perform first article, in‑process, and final inspections to verify product conformance.
  • Analyze inspection data and generate detailed reports for internal teams and customers.
  • Identify non‑conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Calibrate and maintain CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Proven experience programming and operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
