EHS Associate

Job Summary

The EHS Associate supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe workplace. This role works closely with site leadership and employees to reduce risk, improve safety culture, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Assist in implementing and maintaining EHS programs, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and local safety regulations
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Support incident investigations and perform root cause analysis
• Deliver safety training and promote employee awareness programs
• Maintain EHS documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Monitor safety performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with emergency preparedness and response planning
• Partner with operations and leadership to integrate safety into daily processes

• 5+ years of EHS or safety-related experience
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to conduct audits, training, and data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or EHS management systems
