Position Overview
This is a hands-on, routine physical testing role (not research). You will prepare polymer samples and perform standard physical tests such as compression molding, melt flow testing, tensile testing, and other related methods. The lab follows strict procedures to support product certification for customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare polymer samples and standards for testing
- Operate and maintain analytical/physical testing equipment per established methods
- Collect, review, and report test data
- Maintain a strong safety focus and follow all required procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams
- Associate degree or higher, or equivalent laboratory experience
- Prior lab experience and ability to clearly describe instruments and tests performed
- Experience with lab instrumentation and basic analysis
- Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
- Good collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a lab environment with hazardous chemicals (all PPE provided)
