Food Products Division Quality Technician
Location: Evendale, OH 45241
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire or Direct Hire
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support food safety and quality activities within a food manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for monitoring critical control points, verifying traceability information, performing in-process quality checks, and ensuring required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Essential Responsibilities
- Monitor and document HACCP critical control points
- Verify lot codes, dates, and other traceability information against production documentation
- Monitor and record process control points, including weights, labels, and metal detector checks
- Ensure quality and food-safety forms are completed accurately and at the required times
- Perform allergen and ATP swabbing
- Monitor compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and company policies
- Support food safety and quality programs
- Ensure traceability information is accurately entered into applicable systems
- Communicate quality concerns to appropriate team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Quality leadership
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of related experience or training within food or beverage manufacturing
- Working knowledge of food safety and quality procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under time constraints
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce
- Flexibility to support business needs when required
