Food Products Division Quality Technician

Location: Evendale, OH 45241
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire or Direct Hire

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support food safety and quality activities within a food manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for monitoring critical control points, verifying traceability information, performing in-process quality checks, and ensuring required documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document HACCP critical control points
  • Verify lot codes, dates, and other traceability information against production documentation
  • Monitor and record process control points, including weights, labels, and metal detector checks
  • Ensure quality and food-safety forms are completed accurately and at the required times
  • Perform allergen and ATP swabbing
  • Monitor compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and company policies
  • Support food safety and quality programs
  • Ensure traceability information is accurately entered into applicable systems
  • Communicate quality concerns to appropriate team members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Quality leadership

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of related experience or training within food or beverage manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of food safety and quality procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under time constraints
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce
  • Flexibility to support business needs when required
