As a Research Analyst, you play a role in supporting the delivery of strategic insights to our clients through research projects. Your work includes a variety of studies requiring sharp time management skills and keen attention to detail. This position offers a chance to learn quantitative research design and gain experience managing key market research projects.
- Works with project team and appropriate internal resources to meet client needs.
- Participates in client communication (email, phone, etc.) to capture needs and feedback.
- Familiarizes self with key clients/accounts within the Service Line.
- Supports the preparation of reports and presentations.
- May share files and updates with clients.
- Works alongside project lead to deliver reliable and timely data, owning tasks such as link checking, data quality checks, and report population.
- Focuses on executional excellence with increased independence.
- Understands the project lifecycle for custom research and manages projects from client approval to deliverables with lead oversight.
- Collaborates with internal Ops partners in project execution.
- Manages project timelines.
- Mentors new Analysts on core competencies.
- Reviews and revises questionnaires.
- Creates and submits project materials.
- Manages internal project partners.
- Reviews and finalizes links.
- Monitors fieldwork.
- Finalizes data tables.
- Spec’s, charts, and proofs report slides.
- Manages multiple projects/priorities and resolves arising problems.
- Participates in mentorship of new Analysts and Interns, including shadowing and guidance.
- Manages internal project partners with increased independence to keep tasks on schedule and within scope.
- Participates in analytic plan meetings with the project team.
- Creates report shell with project team direction and ensures timely and accurate report creation.
- Reviews survey data and begins to analyze and interpret results (may assist with writing headlines).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Market Research.
- 1+ years of primary, quantitative research experience in a professional setting (including internships).
- Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Highly organized and good time management; ability to manage multiple projects.
- Clear, concise written communication skills.
- Ability to positively interact with internal support teams.
- Ability to adapt to in-house operational forms, processes, and software.
In accordance with NY/CO/WA law, the estimated base salary for this role is $59,000 to $66,500. Final salary will be determined based on location, experience, skills, knowledge, education, and certifications.
